DeRUST

DeRUST is an acid based formulation that allows to remove rust stains from granites; it is particularly suitable to neutralize iron elements present in the materials that take on a yellowish colouring with the exposition to the atmospheric agents; this colouring alters its features.
DeRUST is used on materials with higher rust concentration and more linked to stone substrate as: gneiss, Serizzo, Luserna and some granites of Chinese and Indian origin.
We suggest to evaluate the efficacy of DeRUST in advance, using a sample of material and apply the product leaving it about half an hour and then warm up with a flame up to the complete drying of the surface. If the rust stain disappears it is possible to carry out the treatment on the whole material; on the contrary, consult the technical service of KEMISTONE.
